INTEGRATED WOMEN’S PELVIC HEALTH FOR YOGA TEACHERS + HEALTH PRACTITIONERS

Integrated Women’s Pelvic Health

Taryn Gaudin Women’s Health Physiotherapist

Do you work with women? In particular, do you have a desire to support women in feeling connected to their body? In order to help women to feel safe, connected, and embodied in their body, we need have a good understanding of the life cycle of a woman, and how these transition phases in a woman’s life impact how she experiences her body. There is a world of deep core and pelvic floor changes that occur within a woman’s body over her life cycle. Without a good understanding of these changes, we can only scratch the surface of truly supporting a woman to feel connected to her body as she moves through menarche, menstruation, conception, pregnancy, birth, motherhood, menopause, and beyond. When we have a good understanding of pelvic health, not only on a physical level; but also on an energetic, emotional, and spiritual level; we can support women to embrace and navigate these sometimes very challenging changes within her body as she deepens her practice.

Integrated Women’s Pelvic Health Training is for Yoga Teachers and other Women’s Health Therapists/Practitioners who would like to deepen their understanding of Holistic Pelvic Health. Over the past 6 years, Taryn has developed a unique approach to pelvic wellness that is rooted in a deep understanding of, and appreciation for, the interconnectedness of the physical body, the energetic body, the emotional body, and the spiritual body.

In this 3 part series, Taryn shares a blend of clinical evidence-based approaches to women’s pelvic health, along with an understanding of deep core & pelvic wellness from a whole-body holistic perspective – where you will explore the physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual aspects of pelvic health, so that you can offer your clients avenues to deepen their feminine embodiment. This is the ultimate integration where science meets soul.

TARYN GAUDIN

Hi! I’m Taryn, Mama of 3; Lover of Movement & Outdoor Adventure; Author or Body Conscious, & Passionate Women’s Integrated Pelvic Floor Physio & Whole Body Connection Guide. My wish is for every woman to feel at home in her body, whole in her skin, & centred in her self.

After overcoming my own challenges with pelvic pain, I’ve spent the last 6 years developing an alternative therapeutic approach to women’s wellness – combining clinical evidence-based physiotherapy practices with intuitive energy medicine. Reflecting a deep appreciation of the connectedness of the physical, emotional, and spiritual body, this unique therapeutic approach has been pivotal in uncovering the core issues of the physical pelvic symptoms that women experience.

Having seen the phenomenal results of this approach, I now teach other  Women’s Health Therapists and practitioners to harness their intuition and create a more integrative approach to their work that honours the wisdom of the woman’s body.

“The content, wisdom, and practices shared have all played an integral role in my own growth and embodiment as a yoga teacher and as a woman”

I am grateful to have completed Taryn’s Integrative Pelvic Health course as part of my 350hr Women’s Yoga Teacher Training last year. From the very first video I could see it wasn’t going to be the typical approach to yoga anatomy that I had struggled to digest in the past, but rather a supportive and insightful guide to women’s overall health and well-being. Taryn radiates passion, warmth and authenticity, and approaches pelvic wellness in a beautifully holistic way, integrating the physical, energetic, emotional and spiritual layers of a woman’s body. She acknowledges the cyclical nature of women and discusses how yoga teachers can support each individual woman’s journey, in whichever phase or stage of life she presents at. The content, wisdom and practices shared have all played an integral role in my own growth and embodiment as a yoga teacher and as a woman. Taryn’s work is what I believe to be exactly what we need more of in the world right now – compassionate, understanding, body positive, intuitive and soul led. I would highly recommended this training to all yoga teachers and health practitioners. Thank you Taryn

“Taryn helped me more than words can explain.”

“She is patient, very present and one of the most supportive practitioners I have ever worked with. I was dissociating from my body during sex as a result of an emotionally abusive relationship. Through working with Taryn, I can now be present in sex and I am working with her on being open and vulnerable to intimacy. I also have an overactive pelvic floor that Taryn is helping me to manage. She is amazing in that she helps to remove the shame I have felt about having a “defective” body part – and she has taught me that there is nothing wrong, just something I need to work on if I choose to do so. I can’t wait to continue to work with Taryn on all things sex, intimacy, and pain management.”

“I felt truly seen, heard, validated and safe”

“Taryn is a gifted practitioner with the unique ability to blend the physical, emotional and energetic aspects of pelvic health together. I have experienced many pelvic floor assessments over the years and none of them have incorporated the integrated approach that Taryn creates. Her ability to challenge the traditional idea of pelvic health and wellness by incorporating mind-body awareness and connection is invaluable to those she serves. After years of searching for an integrated pelvic health approach, I’m grateful to have finally found it with Taryn. I felt truly seen, heard, validated and safe working with Taryn which helped to create a deep sense of healing. Thank you Taryn for the work you are doing. It is so very needed and appreciated.”
